 I will never doubt your apprehensions since the only guiding factor for
the
Yanks is one & only one facor - 'their perceived national-interest'. It
is
primarily governed by the 'Arms lobby' & that lobby manipulates the
policy
to keep itself in buisness at all costs. India will do well to realise
that
if there is one partner that will jack this country at times most needed
it
will be the US-UK duo. Any possibility of a threat to US interests by
India
will be used as an excuse & all transactions done will be held over for
the
flimsiest excuse. So India will do well never to put its eggs in that
basket - certainly never to rely on the UK/USA duo for anything critical
-

I am indeed questioning with a super-duper mind and what I am asking is
this:
"The US Government has in the past puppeted the Pakistani Government
without
really ever understanding the regional politics or South Asia and it did
so
for
its own benefit.  Such a collaboration didn't benefit the people of
Pakistan
and
it certainly has destabilized the region.  So, I am now questioning the
sincerity of US Government's "friendship" with the Indian Government and

asking
whether the Indian people would be taken for a ride while these two
Governments
become buddies?
